At Excel Driver Services I handle both Excel and Sim-Tech brands. Including all marketing & branding while updating their technology company-wide to collect and display training data. Transitioning them from paper training forms to the new updated online training forms. This also includes handling all on and off-line branding, website, social media, sim trailer graphics, and the design of Excel Safety Services web application for collecting and displaying data, with wireframes and prototypes, including the project management of a small development team, recruiting / jobs SOPs and more.

90octane was my first time in a 100% Developer position, in the past I've been the Designer on the team. As a Web Developer at 90octane I built responsive lead generating html email templates, landing pages, and WordPress websites. Clients included TriZetto Provider Solutions, Jeppesen, Feeding America, Gates, Globus, East West Partners, Swisslog, Schrader, PostNet, and MWH Global. Code development on mac using SublimeText for writing html & php code, Dreamweaver for email html templates because they use old school tables, Prepros to compile code, Firefox Firebug Inspector for html debug, WordPress for CMS and GitHub for code version control. I started as a 3 month contract Web Developer, as they needed me to build summerscorner.com and eastedisto.com (design by Strada), using html, css, media queries for breakpoints and php. After noticing that one of 90octanes clients website was in great need of a redesign and rebuild, I proposed a new website rebuild that included over a dozen websites in a family of WordPress sites as well as site content and server migration. It was then sold to the client in-turn I was hired on full-time to make it happen. I had to work closely and diligently with the client to make it happen in just one short year. The MWH Global family of websites include the main site mwhglobal.com, a multi-language (using WPML) google map based project finder site at mwh-projects.mwhglobal.com, the Dutch site nl.mwhglobal.com, translated Dutch project finder at mwh-projects.mwhglobal.com/?lang=nl, the Latin America site latinoamerica.mwhglobal.com, a contractors version at mwhconstructors.com, and several more.

As a UX/UI Designer, my overall responsibility was to manage the look & feel/functionality of DFM’s digital portfolio, which includes the desktop, tablet and mobile versions of The Denver Post, the San Jose Mercury News and the St. Paul Pioneer Press, in addition to about 40 small- to mid-sized newspapers and their ancillary products. The principal projects included a redesign of the The Denver Post’s native and mobile web applications and a mobile-responsive desktop version, a mobile-first redesign of The Post’s niche product Media Center, and a redesign of The Post’s commerce products (autos, real estate and jobs). The process involves extensive user testing and development of wireframes and prototypes, both static and live, for the purposes of testing and for internal stakeholder buy-in.

As a contract employee with FactionMedia I worked on Flash/html web sites, identity packages, brochures, direct mail campaigns, and various web and print projects. I designed and built a flash/video presentation for the 2007 Nashville Sales Conference for Avaya Telecommunications. I also worked with Faction in designing several Flash/Flex applications.

While working contract with the Ianni Group, a small marketing/design studio, I conceptualized and designed promotional materials and point of purchase displays for Mikes Hard Lemonade and Moosehead Lager. I also helped with the re-branding of the Outlets of Colorado in Castle Rock and Loveland, as well as production of advertisements for ARC Thrift Stores and Village Homes.
